Abandonment condition: if the rebuilt site publishes a longer maximum retention setting, the 7 should follow it. The only provider in the set whose headline price fell by more than 20%: the yearly went from $69.99 to EUR 40, nominally -43%, and the monthly stayed at about the same number while changing currency. The fall coincides with a rebuild by a new team, so it is a relaunch price. Two other things move in the window: the yearly oscillated $69.99 -> $54.99 -> $69.99 before the rebuild, and the plan names changed from 'The Good Kit'/'The Useful Partner' to plain Monthly/Yearly. The annual price is the cheapest per month among the western multi-hosters read here, but nothing on the site says how much traffic or storage that buys, and the free tier that older reviews describe is gone from the rebuilt pricing block. The Bitcoin claim has been on this FAQ for years and the FAQ sat above a rebuilt site, so the rail list may predate the rebuild. That is the reason the confidence stays at documented rather than measured. The yearly rate (3.33 EUR/month) undercuts TorBox's monthly rate if the client can pay a year up front in Bitcoin. Third-party reviews quote per-host caps (Rapidgator 20 GB/day, Uploaded 10 GB/day) but none is on a vendor page, so none is recorded as fact here.","extras":{"retention_map":{"short_setting":{"stated":"plan setting, short end","days":7,"source_url":"https://offcloud.com/privacy"},"long_setting":{"stated":"plan setting, long end","days":30,"source_url":"https://offcloud.com/privacy"},"account_data_after_deletion":{"stated":"account data after account deletion","days":30,"source_url":"https://offcloud.com/privacy"}},"account_deletion":{"stated":"no inactivity deletion in the current terms; the previous contract reserved the right to log off long-inactive accounts","days":null,"source_url":"https://offcloud.com/terms"},"reactivation":"files inside the retention setting reappear; beyond it, re-fetch","storage_model":"temporary per-plan cloud with a configurable deletion clock","price_history":[{"date":"2023-10-19","price":"USD 9.99 / month","plan":"The Good Kit","source_url":"https://web.archive.org/web/20231019165233/https://offcloud.com/"},{"date":"2023-10-19","price":"USD 69.99 / year","plan":"The Useful Partner","source_url":"https://web.archive.org/web/20231019165233/https://offcloud.com/"},{"date":"2024-10-06","price":"USD 54.99 / year","plan":"The Useful Partner","source_url":"https://web.archive.org/web/20241006171520/https://offcloud.com/","change_pct":-21.4},{"date":"2025-10-04","price":"USD 69.99 / year","plan":"The Useful Partner","source_url":"https://web.archive.org/web/20251004221133/https://offcloud.com/","change_pct":27.3},{"date":"2026-10-23","price":"EUR 40 / year","plan":"Yearly Premium","source_url":"https://offcloud.com/","change_pct":-42.8},{"date":"2026-10-23","price":"EUR 10 / month","plan":"Monthly Premium","source_url":"https://offcloud.com/"}],"change_36m":"-42.8% nominal on the yearly (USD 69.99 -> EUR 40); the currency changed, so this is not an FX-adjusted cut","currency":"USD until the 2026 rebuild, EUR after; no conversion applied","usenet":true,"free_tier_status":"removed on the rebuilt site; legacy 3-link allowance still described by mirrors","api_repo":"https://github.com/Offcloud/offcloud-api","payment_group":"crypto","payment":{"card":true,"paypal":true,"crypto":["BTC"],"crypto_processor":"not named","local_rails":["e-banking gateways (iDeal, Amazon per the list page)","phone and SMS premium payment"],"voucher":false,"non_bank_rails":["e-card (Ukash, named in an older copy of the same answer)"],"entry_price":"EUR 10 / month; EUR 40 / year"},"host_matrix":{"published_daily_caps":false,"source":"https://offcloud.com/","cap_endpoint":"none public","hosts_listed":0,"rows":[]},"matrix_ref":"matrix.md","third_party_caps":"reported but not recorded: Rapidgator 20 GB/day, Uploaded 10 GB/day, Usenet 20 GB/day"},"interface_detail":"REST API, RSS, Zapier and IFTTT integration; remote upload to third-party clouds","endpoint":"https://offcloud.com/api"},"claims":[{"path":"$.free_tier.stated","kind":"free-quota","num":10.0,"unit":"GB","per":null,"currency":null,"usd":null,"fx_date":null,"parse":"ok"},{"path":"$.limits[0].value","kind":"limit:retention-clamped","num":null,"unit":null,"per":null,"currency":null,"usd":null,"fx_date":null,"parse":"unparsed"},{"path":"$.limits[1].value","kind":"limit:volume-quota","num":10.0,"unit":"GB","per":null,"currency":null,"usd":null,"fx_date":null,"parse":"ok"},{"path":"$.limits[2].value","kind":"limit:request-rate","num":null,"unit":null,"per":null,"currency":null,"usd":null,"fx_date":null,"parse":"unparsed"},{"path":"$.limits[3].value","kind":"limit:volume-quota","num":null,"unit":null,"per":null,"currency":null,"usd":null,"fx_date":null,"parse":"unparsed"},{"path":"$.price_per_tb_month","kind":"price-per-tb","num":10.0,"unit":"TB","per":"month","currency":"EUR","usd":11.193,"fx_date":"2026-10-23","parse":"ok"}],"unknown":[["$.evidence[13].proved","withheld"],["$.retention.stated","withheld"]],"history":[],"drift":[]}]}
