paidemailno cardDper-ip-shaping
| Free tier | None. The class exemption is not free either: the terms make Remote Traffic the sanctioned path for a server caller and say it is 'in addition to the subscription'. A listed VPN exit is the only sanctioned route that costs nothing beyond the subscription. unit none; metered on none; This record owns the IP-class rule only. |
|---|---|
| Price | EUR 4.00 per 30 days, flat (third-party price; the vendor premium page returns 403) |
| Per-object cap | not applicable: an account class rule, not an object cap |
| Retention | not applicable: the rule governs who may call, not what is stored |
| Egress | The terms refuse the class in one sentence: 'The User certifies that he will not use a dedicated server, VPS or any cloud service on our service other than by using his Remote Traffic (which is in addition to the subscription).' The vendor FAQ, reproduced verbatim by a third party, states the default and the exemption separately: 'By default, all server IP addresses are blocked on Real-Debrid to prevent abuse'; 'If you want to download with or through a dedicated server (RDP, personal VPN, private proxy, etc.), you have to use your Remote Traffic.' Enforcement is a range list, not a class check: the /vpn page names the calling address and answers per address. free_allowance: none for a server address; a listed VPN exit costs no more than the subscription |
| Identity | email An email account and a paid premium subscription, with a card or crypto at signup. The exemption is bought inside the same account; no second identity is required. |
| Limits |
Two rules that read alike and are not: the class rule refuses server ranges outright unless Remote Traffic is on, and the sharing rule refuses a second simultaneous public address of any class. A client on one stable datacenter address satisfies the sharing rule completely and still fails the class rule. |
| Binding | per-ip-shaping At 1 TiB a month from a rented machine the class rule fails first and is total: the account cannot unrestrict a link at all until the caller's address is on the list or Remote Traffic is on. If Remote Traffic is on, the binding moves to the volume meter, whose price is unread. The sharing rule never fires for a single-address caller. |
| Interface | rest, rclone HTTPS REST API at api.real-debrid.com; the class exemption is the 'remote' flag on POST /unrestrict/link, or the 'Remote Traffic' checkbox on real-debrid.com/downloader endpoint: https://api.real-debrid.com/rest/1.0/ |
| Tooling | rclone's realdebrid backend, rdt-client, zurg and Debrid Media Manager. Debrid Media Manager's provider notes tell users to switch off the automatic Remote Traffic toggle because it spends the metered allowance on ordinary streaming. |
| Composes with | A client on a rented machine has two sanctioned shapes: terminate a VPN on the machine and hope the exit is on the list, or leave the machine bare and pay Remote Traffic per byte. The first is cheap and unverifiable before purchase; the second is priced per gigabyte and is the one that scales with a 1 TiB month. |
| Reliability | The published whitelist has been withdrawn while the mechanism it describes has not. On 2026-08-29 the archived /vpn page carried a 113-row table of non-cooperative VPN providers with an allowed-address count for each; on 2026-10-20 the same page carried neither that table nor any cooperative rows, and two live reads today render the cooperative header with zero rows. |
| Notes | a later read arrived from 172.69.76.154 and was blocked the same way), and that 'no vendor gives a client a list to check before paying' (one existed eight weeks ago and the per-address oracle is still live). this record owns the class rule. The API is not the free path: /user and /unrestrict/check work anonymously or on a free account, torrents do not. Abandonment condition: if a free account is ever able to call /torrents/addMagnet, the 'paid-only' verdict is wrong and the record must be re-probed with a real free token. As a fetcher it is the cheapest per month. As a store it fails the month-on/months-off pattern: nothing is held on the client's behalf, and what looks like retention is other users keeping the same infohash hot. Abandonment condition: if RD ever publishes a personal storage quota with a grace period, this record is wrong. POST /unrestrict/check is documented as needing no authentication, but the broker wrapper has no POST path, so could not call it a GET returns the unknown_method 404 already recorded. That endpoint would answer host, size and supported-status for a single link without an account, and it is the cheapest next probe. Candidates considered for what breaks a working RD account first: (1) the filename filter, (2) the add pacing, (3) the account losing its paid period. The filter is confirmed by two independent reports and a client log; the pacing is confirmed by a dated third-party measurement; the expiry path is documented only as error codes 14/15 and was not observed. The vendor's own hoster status endpoint is documented in the API (fields 'supported' and 'status' of 'up'/'down'/'unsupported') but reads are authenticated, so no unauthenticated host-removal signal exists. Two independent price pages read in 2026 agree on 3 / 4 / 9 / 16 EUR for 15 / 30 / 90 / 180 days, and neither lists an annual plan, so the absence of a 365-day term is a finding rather than an omission. Routes tried on /premium: broker read (403 body), read through hyperbrowser and browserless (403 body), Wayback captures from 2026-08-30 and 2026-10-02 (both captured the 403 page), raw fetch (403 from cf-fetch, 404 with the eu egress label - which also 404s the home page, so that label establishes nothing). The vendor API's public /hosts endpoint worked and is the source of the 140 figure. The price is the most stable in the set and the least observable: 4 EUR for 30 days in February 2020 and 4 EUR for 30 days in the two 2026 reports, a 6.7-year window with no movement and a 5-year hole in the archive where the vendor blocks the crawler. The 2020 page also publishes its own FX rate, '1 EUR = +/- 1.1052 USD', so the USD figures in the 2026 reports are the vendor's approximate conversions and not a price change. The vendor's own /premium page is invisible to every fetch path available here, which is itself the finding: a cardless client cannot even read the rail list without an account. Two third-party guides published in 2026 still say PayPal is accepted; the mirrored vendor FAQ says it is not. Keep the conservative reading (no PayPal) and note the conflict rather than averaging it. Most important blocked record. Everything a client would act on (price, quotas, retention) is behind an anti-bot 403 that neither the reader nor a Wayback replay passes, and the API docs do not carry commercial terms. that is the number to verify first in the next session. |
| Evidence rung | documented The class rule and the oracle are vendor pages read today. The FAQ sentences are a third party's verbatim reproduction of vendor support text, dated 2024-07-16, and are marked as such. What is not established: whether any specific datacenter range passes, and the price of the exemption. Both are answerable only with an account or a purchase. Evidence dates normalised to the read date on 2026-10-23; a source that carries its own date keeps it in the proved field. |

| 2026-10-23 | real-debrid.com/terms | 'The User certifies that he will not use a dedicated server, VPS or any cloud service on our service other than by using his Remote Traffic (which is in addition to the subscription).' The same page carries the sharing rule in a separate sentence: 'Any account sharing or generated links sharing will lead to a suspension of the User account.' |
| 2026-10-23 | github.com/debridmediamanager/awesome-debrid/discussions/7 | Vendor support answers reproduced verbatim: 'By default, all server IP addresses are blocked on Real-Debrid to prevent abuse. VPN services use servers to operate, and they can be affected by these restrictions'; 'If you want to download with or through a dedicated server (RDP, personal VPN, private proxy, etc.), you have to use your Remote Traffic'; 'You can use your account from any public IP address, but you can't use your account from more than one public IP address at the same time'. Third-party republication, not a vendor page. |
| 2026-10-23 | real-debrid.com/vpn | Path A, broker egress 172.69.76.154: 'Your ISP or VPN provider IP address is currently blocked on our website, please contact the support'. Path B, direct probe from this machine's own egress 103.139.152.1, reverse 103.139.152.1, ISP reported as DishHome: 'Your current IP address is not blocked on our website, you don't seem behind a VPN.' Same page, same minute, opposite verdicts, decided by the calling address. |
| 2026-10-23 | web.archive.org/web/20260829172412/https://real-debrid.com/v | The 2026-08-29 capture (record_length 7944) carries a 113-row 'VPN Name | IP Addresses allowed' table from 143VPN|51 to Zscaler|32768. The 2026-10-20 capture (record_length 3595) carries no such table, and its own caller is 207.241.239.100 'Internet Archive', reported by the page as not blocked. |
| 2026-10-23 | probe:https://real-debrid.com/trafficshare | The exemption is account-gated and its price is unverified. |
| 2026-10-23 | www.reddit.com/r/RealDebrid/comments/1q3slq2/ | 2026-01-04 thread on ban avoidance: 'Don't stream from more than one IP adresss at a time (it is not locked to an IP address)'; a reply adds 'There's a list of approved vpn providers+tier that are ok to use. Do pay attention to the tier. Ex. Proton VPN free is trouble but the paid tier is fine.' Community account of the sharing rule and of a tiered whitelist. |
| 2026-10-23 | api.real-debrid.com/ | 'The API is limited to 250 requests per minute, all refused requests will return HTTP 429 error and will count in the limit'; the opensource-app client_id X245A4XAIBGVM with scopes unrestrict, torrents, downloads, user; the /device/code and /device/credentials flows; the 403 'not premium' gate on every torrent endpoint |
| 2026-10-23 | notes.debridmediamanager.com/providers/realdebrid/ | the 20-second per-add floor measured 2026-08-17, that a refused add returns 451 infringing_file, and zurg's 250/75 per-minute defaults |
| 2026-10-23 | github.com/rogerfar/rdt-client | a maintained client that implements 'a fake qBittorrent API so you can hook up other applications like Sonarr, Radarr' and requires 'a Premium service' |
| 2026-10-23 | probe:https://api.real-debrid.com/rest/1.0/time | the public endpoint answers without a token: returned '2026-10-23 03:46:08', matching the documented 'This request is not requiring authentication' |
| 2026-10-23 | real-debrid.com/terms | the 'reasonable use' throttling clause, the ban on dedicated-server/VPS/cloud use outside Remote Traffic, and the 7-day refund window; no retention clause at all |
| 2026-10-23 | api.real-debrid.com/ | 'The API is limited to 250 requests per minute', the downloads and torrents namespaces, and per-host size fields; no storage quota in the API surface |
| 2026-10-23 | notes.debridmediamanager.com/internals/realdebrid-behavior/ | measured 2026-08: 'Cached links survive the generating account deleting its torrent - but they die of age. Sampled at scale: links minted 1-2 months ago all still unrestricted cross-account; links older than ~3 months all returned hoster_unavailable' |
| 2026-10-23 | www.reddit.com/r/RealDebrid/comments/1e3lq2j/deleting_downlo | users quote the RD FAQ line 'A Real-Debrid link remains valid for 30 days (without any uptime guarantee)'; reported, and the vendor FAQ page is JavaScript-only so the sentence could not be read at source |
| 2026-10-23 | probe:https://api.real-debrid.com/rest/1.0/hosts | 140 hosts, each with only id, name, image, image_big - GET 200, 33159 bytes; no cap field |
| 2026-10-23 | probe:https://api.real-debrid.com/rest/1.0/traffic | refusal shape: HTTP 401 {"error":"bad_token","error_code":8} in 43 bytes |
| 2026-10-23 | probe:https://api.real-debrid.com/rest/1.0/hosts/status | the host-status endpoint also requires a token: HTTP 401, same 43-byte body |
| 2026-10-23 | api.real-debrid.com/ | 'Get traffic informations for limited hosters (limits, current usage, extra packages)' and the Traffic schema with left/bytes/links/limit/type/extra/reset |
| 2026-10-23 | api.real-debrid.com/ | 'POST /unrestrict/check ... Check if a file is downloadable on the concerned hoster. This request is not requiring authentication.' - the only unauthenticated per-link check here |
| 2026-10-23 | probe:https://api.real-debrid.com/rest/1.0/hosts/regex | the full host regex set is public: 20157 bytes, so host coverage is scriptable even though caps are not |
| 2026-10-23 | probe:https://api.real-debrid.com/rest/1.0/time | the API answers unauthenticated: 19 bytes, '2026-10-23 03:46:08' |
| 2026-10-23 | probe:https://real-debrid.com/signup | signup fields could not be read: the vendor serves its own '404 - Not Found' page |

| 2026-10-23 | probe:https://api.real-debrid.com/rest/1.0/unrestrict/check | a GET is refused as unknown_method (48 bytes, error_code 3), which is what a POST-only route looks like through a GET-only wrapper |
| 2026-10-23 | probe:https://rest.real-debrid.com/ | the second documentation hostname serves byte-identical content (296575 bytes, sha e2750b91...), so there is one spec and not two |
| 2026-10-23 | api.real-debrid.com/ | Also '250 requests per minute' and the torrent status list magnet_error, magnet_conversion, waiting_files_selection, queued, downloading, downloaded, error, virus, compressing, uploading, dead. |
| 2026-10-23 | real-debrid.com/terms | 'Any account sharing or generated links sharing will lead to a suspension of the User account.' and 'Hosts without clearly indicated limit are considered unlimited, within the limit of a reasonable use of the User ... any consumption beyond this so-called reasonable use may be temporarily limited.' |
| 2026-10-23 | notes.debridmediamanager.com/providers/realdebrid/ | Third-party measurement dated 2026-08-17: 'Two adds on one account need 20 seconds between them ... Six clean release names added ten seconds apart were refused six times out of six. The same six twenty seconds apart were accepted six times out of six.' And: 'A refused add looks exactly like a blocked filename. Real-Debrid answers both with 451 infringing_file.' Also 'A second copy of content the account already holds never downloads ... sits at 0 percent with 0 seeders forever.' |
| 2026-10-23 | github.com/LivingWithHippos/unchained-android/issues/377 | A client log of the exact refusal: '403 https://api.real-debrid.com/rest/1.0/torrents/addMagnet ... {"error": "infringing_file", "error_code": 35}' - HTTP 403 at the transport, 35 in the body. |
| 2026-10-23 | www.reddit.com/r/debridmediamanager/comments/1t9l96i/realdeb | Reported, by the Debrid Media Manager author: ~280 torrents tested against the API, with per-source block rates of 32% (WEB-DL), 64% (WEBRip), 14% (BluRay encode) and 0% (REMUX, SubsPlease); later stated as 1,500+ torrents tested. |
| 2026-10-23 | www.reddit.com/r/RealDebrid/comments/1eiij7g/ip_not_allowed | Reported, a user's account of error 22: logging in from a different IP produced ip_not_allowed, and 'RD got back to me and asked that I disable IPv6 as that was the IP not allowed.' |
| 2026-10-23 | real-debrid.com/premium | it carries no price |

Real-Debrid Remote Traffic Debrid
paidcardcardDvolume-quota
| Free tier | None. Remote Traffic is sold on top of the subscription: 'The User certifies that he will not use a dedicated server, VPS or any cloud service on our service other than by using his Remote Traffic (which is in addition to the subscription).' The vendor's own support answer says the same: 'If you want to download with or through a dedicated server (RDP, personal VPN, private proxy, etc.), you have to use your Remote Traffic.' unit none; metered on downloaded-bytes; The add-on is the only sanctioned way for a VPS, a cloud host or a private proxy to use Real-Debrid. VPN exits are a separate route: they are whitelisted by provider, not bought. |
|---|---|
| Price | unverified |
| Per-object cap | not applicable: a traffic allowance, not an object |
| Retention | not applicable: traffic is spent, not stored |
| Egress | Metered by volume and required for every server-side caller. The API exposes the switch as a per-link flag: 'POST remote | int | 0 or 1, use Remote traffic, dedicated servers and account sharing protections lifted'. An empty allowance returns the error 'traffic_exhausted'. it must be bought inside a premium account: 'your account must be Premium to use this traffic'. free_allowance: none |
| Identity | card An email account plus a paid premium subscription; the add-on is bought inside that account and 'your account must be Premium to use this traffic'. The payment methods were not read. |
| Limits |
The account page carries a second trap: an automatic Remote Traffic toggle that spends the paid allowance before the user asks for it. Debrid Media Manager's provider notes call this out by name. |
| Binding | volume-quota At 1 TiB a month the metered add-on is what runs out, not the subscription: the subscription itself has no byte meter for hoster traffic, while Remote Traffic is sold by the gigabyte and reports exhaustion as an error. |
| Interface | rest, rclone HTTPS REST API at api.real-debrid.com. The switch is the 'remote' parameter on POST /unrestrict/link, or the 'Remote Traffic' checkbox on real-debrid.com/downloader. endpoint: https://api.real-debrid.com/rest/1.0/ |
| Tooling | rclone's realdebrid backend, rdt-client, zurg and Debrid Media Manager all carry a note to switch off the account setting 'Use my Remote Traffic automatically when needed', because leaving it on spends the allowance on ordinary streaming without telling the user. |
| Composes with | This is the licence that makes a Real-Debrid subscription usable from a free VM at all: without it the account is used from the VM's residential-like egress, with it the VM downloads directly and pays per byte. |
| Reliability | Exhausting the allowance fails the link with 'traffic_exhausted' rather than a 4xx the client can retry; the automatic toggle can spend it silently. |
| Notes | A separate record from the Real-Debrid subscription because it is a separately sold, separately metered product aimed at exactly a user's machine class. this one prices the exemption. The unit price is the one gap: the German board freesoft-board.de quotes '100GB Traffic fur 9,99 EUR' in a 2012 thread, which is too old and too weakly sourced to promote to a number. |
| Evidence rung | documented The requirement, the API flag and the exhaustion error are all on vendor pages read today. The price is the one load-bearing number not read: /trafficshare and /premium both render a 403 shell to anonymous readers, including the archive.org capture, so the price is named unverified rather than filled in. |
| Checked | 2026-10-24 (live); stale on 2026-11-23 |

| date | source | what it proved |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-23 | real-debrid.com/terms | 'The User certifies that he will not use a dedicated server, VPS or any cloud service on our service other than by using his Remote Traffic (which is in addition to the subscription).' |
| 2026-10-23 | api.real-debrid.com/ | POST remote 'int, 0 or 1, use Remote traffic, dedicated servers and account sharing protections lifted'; the /traffic endpoint returns an 'extra' field described as 'Additional traffic / links the user may have buy' |
| 2026-10-23 | github.com/debridmediamanager/awesome-debrid/discussions/7 | Real-Debrid's support answers reproduced verbatim: 'If you want to download with or through a dedicated server (RDP, personal VPN, private proxy, etc.), you have to use your Remote Traffic'; buy link https://real-debrid.com/trafficshare; 'If you get the error "traffic_exhausted", it means that you have no more Remote Traffic.' Third-party republication of vendor text, not a vendor page. |
| 2026-10-23 | real-debrid.com/trafficshare | the price and allowance are therefore unverified |
| 2026-10-23 | notes.debridmediamanager.com/providers/realdebrid/ | 'On your account page make sure Use my Remote Traffic automatically when needed is unchecked. Left on it spends your remote traffic allowance on ordinary streaming without telling you.' |
| 2026-10-23 | real-debrid.com/vpn | the page names the caller and the verdict: from the broker's egress (172.69.41.140) it said 'Your ISP or VPN provider IP address is currently blocked on our website, please contact the support', on two separate reads, while three probes from the client's own connection returned 'not blocked on our website, you don't seem behind a VPN'. The 'Cooperative VPN providers - Recommended' table rendered its header and zero provider rows in both the blocked and the allowed view. |
