Free tierNo quota — media is retained indefinitely. The docs say Twilio 'retains the stored media until you delete the related Media subresource instance', i.e. retention is customer-controlled and unbounded in time.

RetentionNo quota — media is retained indefinitely
EgressAuthenticated only, and Twilio says so outright: 'If you need to embed media in web applications without exposing your credentials, download the media files and serve them from your own server or cloud storage service.' No public URL, ever.
Identityemail (placeholder) not published
Bindingnone no constraint of a named kind was recorded; the verdict rests on the quota sentence rather than on a named limit
Interfacerest rest
Toolingtwilio-python / twilio-node; .media.list() and .media(sid).fetch(). Clean API, but nothing removes the auth requirement.
Composes with5 MB per message is the wall. To reach 1 TB you need ~200,000 MMS, each billed per message — this is the opposite of a free tier. Retention is excellent and completely unusable at this scale.
ReliabilityThe best retention semantics in the slot (never expires unless you delete) ruined by a 5 MB message cap and per-message billing. Interesting only as proof that indefinite retention is commercially possible.
NotesNo quota — media is retained indefinitely. The docs say Twilio 'retains the stored media until you delete the related Media subresource instance', i.e. retention is customer-controlled and unbounded in time.
