| Free tier | A sale published on 2026-08-07 lists dedicated servers from USD 25 a month with 32 GB RAM, 1 TB of disk and 40 TB of bandwidth, in Los Angeles or Buffalo, with AMD or Intel hardware. The same vendor's earlier sale listed an Intel Xeon E3-1240 with 16 GB, a 1 TB SSD, 10 TB of bandwidth, a 1 Gbps port and a /30 IPv4 at USD 178.08 a year, which is USD 14.84 a month, and a Xeon E3-1270v6 with 64 GB and a 1 TB SSD at USD 49.88 a month. unit GiB; metered on wall-clock; kind not stated |

| Retention | not applicable |
| Egress | 'dedicated servers starting at just $25/month! And that's with 32GB of RAM, 1TB of disk, and 40TB of bandwidth', in Los Angeles or Buffalo, AMD or Intel; the post also states 'ColoCrossing is a HostPapa brand' |
| Identity | card not published |
| Limits |
40 TB a month on a 1 Gbps port is the first published limit that a serving workload would reach; the port alone would move about 320 TB a month at line rate. |
| Binding | volume-quota 40 TB a month on a 1 Gbps port is the first published limit that a serving workload would reach; the port alone would move about 320 TB a month at line rate. |
| Interface | unknown inferred from the tooling the provider documents; not probed |
| Tooling | not stated |
| Composes with | 32 GB and 40 TB of transfer for USD 25 is the cheapest published 32 GB shape, and it composes with a cheap VPS as the front end because the port is only 1 Gbps. |
| Reliability | no reliability event recorded |
| Notes | New record: no colocrossing file exists in dossier/compute. The rung is reported because the vendor's own dedicated page is a marketing article with no price table and the only dated numbers come from LowEndBox, which is a third-party deals site quoting the vendor's sale. The CPU model of the USD 25 machine is not stated anywhere I could read, so it is null: a reader who needs the generation should assume nothing. The annual figure of USD 14.84 a month is a 2024 sale and is recorded to show the shape of this vendor's discounting, not as a current price. ColoCrossing being a HostPapa brand is the reliability fact that matters in a lane where the usual failure is an operator that disappears. |

| Free tier | no free tier; the specials store's cheapest rung is the 1 GB at USD 3.95 a month unit none; metered on none |
|---|---|
| Price | none stated |
| Per-object cap | not applicable |
| Retention | the disk persists while the plan is paid; the specials are annual prepay with no refund term stated on the card |
| Egress | 20TB to 40TB a month depending on the SKU, on a '1Gbps Port Speed' free_allowance: 20TB to 40TB a month |
| Identity | card the store is a WHMCS cart; no ID document or company is stated on the specials page. Card hold not stated: unverified rather than none. |
| Limits |
|
| Binding | volume-quota traffic is generous; the thing that fails is stock, because every one of the twenty 8 GB SKUs reads 0 available. |
| Interface | ssh KVM with full root; the store is a WHMCS cart |
| Tooling | any SSH client |
| Composes with | 8 GiB with 4 vCPU and 165 GB SSD for USD 3.33 a month, if any of the twenty SKUs is ever in stock |
| Reliability | no reliability event recorded |
| Notes | NEW PROVIDER, and the clearest dead end of the session. A LowEndTalk thread cites USD 44.44 a year for 8 GB / 4 vCPU / 80 GB / 40 TB, which would be USD 3.70 a month. The vendor's own specials page carries twenty 8 GB SKUs at USD 39.99 to USD 75.00 a year, including three at USD 39.99 (USD 3.33 a month) and four at USD 44.44. Every single one reads '0 Available', and a product page returns an explicit 'Out of Stock ... orders for it have been suspended until more stock is available'. So the prices are real, published and unusable. I enumerated all 93 plans in the specials store and not one has a non-zero stock counter, which is either a store-wide sellout or a template default; the product page's explicit Out of Stock body is what settles it, and I relied on that rather than on the counters alone. VERDICT: 'paid-only' rather than a qualification, because a row that cannot be bought is not an offer — the DediRock lesson applied one step further. Worst case exposure is moot while nothing can be bought. Worth re-checking: these are restocked periodically, and the shapes are the best in the band if they return. |
| Evidence rung | documented twenty 8 GB SKUs were enumerated with their prices, shapes and stock counters from the vendor's own specials page today; every one reads 0 available and the product page returns an explicit Out of Stock body. |

| Identity | card card at signup through the cloud portal or the register/order portal; no hold stated |
| Limits |
|
| Binding | volume-quota Stock on the yearly tiers and a coupon on the monthly ones: neither price on the page is what a cart shows without one or the other. |
| Interface | ssh root SSH on a KVM guest; cloud portal at cloud.colocrossing.com |
| Tooling | any SSH client; the cloud portal |
| Composes with | Would be the cheapest yearly machine at USD 12.00 for 1 GiB, but every yearly cart is out of stock and the monthly carts reprice. |
| Reliability | no reliability event recorded |
| Notes | The strongest fossil, because the product slugs still carry the year: the $12.00 yearly VPS is served from '1gb-black-friday-vps-2024'. Three of the four yearly carts return Out of Stock; the fourth repoints to a monthly category at $3.95. The six monthly VPS offers also repoint to that same category, so the $2.37 figure depends on the BLACKFRIDAY24 coupon being applied to a $3.95 cart - 40% off $3.95 is $2.37, which is consistent but was not tested, because applying a coupon needs a cart session and places no orders. Not verified: whether BLACKFRIDAY24 is still accepted in 2026. |
| Evidence rung | documented The Cyber Monday page and four yearly carts plus two monthly carts were read today. The page prices and the cart behaviour are both quoted; the coupon's effect on a cart was not tested because that needs a cart session. |
